How I Create Your Moon

My moon murals are not paint-based art. I use a specialized mixture of POP and putty to build the lunar surface layer by layer. This gives you a tangible, 3D texture you can actually run your hands over. The craters are sculpted individually to catch the light, which is where the LED integration comes in.

The Lighting Setup

I install high-quality LED strips behind the sculpted moon. This creates a dual-effect, highlighting the texture of the craters with an inner glow while casting a soft ambient light onto your wall. Whether you want a warm, golden vibe for a bedroom or a cool, blue halo for a study space, I adjust the tone to match your room.

Since this work involves heavy-duty sculpting, I use masking sheets to protect your floors from dust. The entire process takes about 4 to 6 days, including the necessary 48-hour drying cycles between sculpting and painting. I am based in Bangalore, but I travel across India for projects.
