Immersive Themed Events and Sensory Workshops for Kids
I turn stories and seasons into immersive worlds where your little ones don't just watch—they explore, create, and play. Whether it's a festive holiday concert or a storybook-themed adventure, my sessions are designed for pure joy and developmental magic.
We're going on a bear hunt, and you're invited. This workshop brings the popular storybook to life with two hours of music, movement, and sensory play based on the textures and feel of the story.
A simple and fun Christmas activity from one of our sessions. This DIY posting box, shaped like a Christmas tree, is great for developing fine motor skills while getting into the holiday spirit.
Our first "Sound of Christmas" event sold out so fast. This musical extravaganza is a fun evening for children with two music teachers, puppetry, dancing, and lots of festive joy.
About this collection
When I design a themed event, like our 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' workshops, I focus on the textures and sensory cues that pull children into the story. We don't just read the book; we set up Tuff trays with specific tactile bases—like swampy green rice or squishy cloud dough—so kids physically experience the journey, making the narrative stick in a way that resonates with their senses.
Why Themed Events Matter
It’s not just for the photos. Themes provide a structured narrative, which helps toddlers and young children engage more deeply. By connecting music, movement, and sensory play to a central story or season, we give kids a familiar anchor, which helps them feel safe enough to explore new textures and sounds.
My Approach to Immersive Play
Whether it's a spooky Halloween bash or a 'Sound of Christmas' concert, my process is always the same: start with a feeling, not a gimmick. For the musical components, I bring my ukulele, Red, to match the energy of the room. If we are exploring a forest, the tempo is different than if we are exploring a winter wonderland.
Sensory Setups That Work
You’ll notice in my event photos that the setup is always floor-based. This isn't accidental. It allows children of all ages—from 6-month-old crawlers to 8-year-olds—to interact at their own level. It’s messy, it’s loud, and it’s meant to be. I handle all the cleanup, so you can actually relax, sip a coffee, and watch your little ones discover something new.

I host these themed sessions across Bangalore, from Banashankari to Sarjapur Road. If you are looking for a unique birthday theme or a seasonal activity that skips the pre-recorded music and plastic toys, let’s chat about what we can create for your child.
Do Re Minis
I’m Rinila, and I’m happiest when I’m covered in glitter or playing Red, my ukulele, for a room full of giggling kids. I’ve built these themed sessions to be the kind of space I wanted for my own—somewhere that respects a child’s natural curiosity while giving you a much-needed breath of fresh air.
