About Performing Arts Classes
Why I Do This
I really believe those early years are full of magic, and performing arts should feel like play, not pressure. My classes are a mix of music, movement, and drama for little ones, with every session built around joy, self-expression, and letting kids just be kids. If your child loves to sing, dance, or act out wild stories, they’ll feel right at home.
What Happens in Class
- Live ukulele jams - sometimes fast, sometimes slow, always fun
- Percussion instruments (shakers, bells, tiny drums) for hands-on learning
- Colourful props like parachutes and scarves for creative movement workshops
- Storytelling and role play sessions using puppets and make-believe
- Drama classes for kids, following the Pyjama Drama curriculum for building confidence
For older kids (up to 9), I offer singing lessons for young children that focus on technique but keep things light. We work towards a small performance after six months - nothing fancy, just a chance for kids to shine.
Who Can Join
I welcome children ages 2 to 6 for most performing arts activities. There are special batches for toddlers (1-2 years) and older kids (6-9 years) focused on singing.
A Little Extra for Parents
I know what it’s like getting out the door with little ones. My classes are also a spot for parents to catch a breath, chat, and maybe share a laugh. Small groups mean every kid gets noticed, and every parent gets a moment.
More Than Play
Everything we do helps with cognitive growth, motor skills, and social confidence. It’s noisy, sometimes messy, but always real.

My Story
Hey, I’m Rinila. Me and my ukulele Red - we’re kinda inseparable! Been running Do Re Minis for ages now, but every giggle and wide-eyed stare still gets me. I love mixing music and stories for the tiniest humans. Parents, you’re always welcome to chill, grab a coffee, and chat while the kids go wild. We’re messy, musical, and always building a little tribe. Come as you are, leave with glitter in your hair.
My Work
Baby Sensory & Performing Arts - We run sensory sessions, process art, movement & drama, all with live ukulele sessions for babies.
Messy Play & Process Art - Edible paint, fizzy potions, flowers and lights - process art for toddlers is always taste-safe and wild.
Inclusive Events & Birthdays - We do sensory play birthday parties and themed events. All kids welcome, including neurodivergent and differently abled.
Parent Community - Our classes are more than play - it’s a breather for grownups, a space to connect and learn together.
