Our Christmas celebration was full of festive cheer, from Santa-themed sensory bins to a special visit from the man in red himself. It was a magical day of joy and wonder.

A beautiful and simple art activity for Durga Puja. The children used glue to create an embossed design of Ma Durga and then revealed the image by painting over it with turmeric and kumkum-colored paint.
Our World Chocolate Day celebration was a sweet treat for everyone. We had chocolate-themed sensory play, chocolate-inspired crafts, and lots of happy, messy faces.

Holidays often bring extra chaos, but at Doe a Dear, I view them as the perfect opportunity for deep, hands-on learning. My approach to festive fun goes beyond surface-level decorations. I integrate sensory integration and fine motor skill practice into every holiday-themed event.
Why Festive Play Matters
When I host a Halloween or Christmas session, the goal is not just a cute photo. It is about allowing children to engage with the environment through touch, smell, and sight. We use themed sensory bins—like Santa's workshop rice or spooky witch's brew—to help toddlers process these new festive concepts in a way that feels safe and exciting.
Sustainable Celebration
I believe festivals should not create more waste. In my workshops, we transform everyday items into holiday art. We have turned dried leaves into Thanksgiving turkeys and cardboard scraps into Halloween props. This teaches children that creativity is resourceful, and it keeps our festive footprint light.
How I Work
I come to your venue in Bengaluru or host you at my JP Nagar center. For holiday events, I bring everything—the sensory bases, the upcycled craft materials, the aprons, and most importantly, the cleaning kit. My sessions typically last 60 to 90 minutes, providing enough time for kids to dive into the mess and for parents to actually sit back and witness the joy.
