About Parent & Child Connection
When we set up our sensory bins or mud kitchens, I make sure the focus stays entirely on your interaction with your child. Whether it is squishing oobleck or planting microgreens together, I handle all the material prep and the messy cleanup afterward. This allows you to step away from the logistical stress and simply enjoy the process of your toddler exploring new textures while you guide them through the discovery.
At Doe a Dear, I design each session around the philosophy that early childhood is the most crucial time for bonding. By moving away from passive entertainment, we create a space where play becomes a shared language. My programs, ranging from sensory play stations to guided workshops, are structured to foster holistic development—improving fine motor skills through tactile activities while building confidence through supported risk-taking.
Why Purposeful Play Matters
Children learn best when they are fully immersed in their environment. In our sessions, your child isn't just playing; they are navigating textures like rice, chia-seed slime, and natural mud. For a toddler, a 'messy' activity is actually a complex scientific experiment. By participating alongside them, you provide the emotional security they need to test boundaries, explore their senses, and solve problems.
The Logistical Advantage
I understand that the primary barrier to messy play at home is the cleanup. My service is built to remove that hurdle. Whether you book an Essential Sensory Play station or a full-scale Messy Art Party, I bring the stations, the floor protection, and the wash-buckets. You and your child arrive, engage, and leave, while I manage the debris, the sanitization, and the dismantling of the setup.
Location & Booking
I host these sessions at my dedicated center in JP Nagar, Bengaluru, and also travel to your preferred venue across the city. Each session is tailored to your child's age group, typically ranging from 6 months to 5 years, ensuring the materials and activities are developmentally appropriate and safe.
Doe A Dear
I started Doe a Dear because I saw parents looking for a way to play with their kids without the 'shoulds' and 'musts' of parenting. I believe that if you make the space and provide the tools, the connection between you and your child happens naturally—no instructions required.
