I turn traditional Garba nights into high-voltage parties. My VDJ sets blend classic Dandiya beats with modern Bollywood, complete with synchronized visuals that keep the dance floor moving non-stop.

About Navratri & Dandiya Nights
When it is Navratri, you do not just want the same old playlist on loop. I use my VDJ setup to sync high-definition visuals with a mix that starts with traditional folk rhythms and transitions into heavy Bollywood remixes, so the tempo stays high even when people start to flag.
More Than Just a DJ Set
Navratri nights demand endurance. You need a mix that honors the tradition of Garba and Dandiya but keeps the younger crowd engaged throughout the evening. My approach focuses on a sonic journey, beginning with authentic folk beats that respect the spirit of the event, and evolving into high-bpm commercial Bollywood and Punjabi tracks as the night progresses.
The VDJ Advantage
Because I perform as a VDJ, the visual element is just as critical as the audio. I bring my own setup to sync music videos, psychedelic loops, and event-specific graphics directly to your venue's LED walls. This means if you have a specific logo or theme for your society or club event, I can integrate it into the backdrop, making the production feel professional and custom.
Technical Production Requirements
For these events to hit the right level of energy, the setup needs to be solid. I typically require:
- A professional PA system capable of handling deep bass frequencies.
- A standard Pioneer DJ console setup (2x CDJs and 1x DJM 900 mixer).
- Direct access to the HDMI processor for the video feed.
I arrive 45 to 60 minutes early for a full sound check, ensuring the lighting and screen syncs are perfect before the first person picks up their dandiya sticks. Whether you are hosting a public concert or a private residential gathering, I am here to make sure the floor stays packed until the final beat drops.
