My Studio is the World: Music Production Anywhere
I don't wait for inspiration. I chase it. From the Brooklyn Bridge to the Swiss Alps, my studio goes wherever the music takes me.
Creating beats by the water with the Brooklyn Bridge lit up at night. The city's pulse is a huge inspiration for my Bollytech sound, and this was the birthplace of my 'Mitwa' remix.
My mobile studio setup overlooking the Sydney Opera House. The view inspired the sound for my 'Dil Nai Lagda' Bollytech remix, blending a classic melody with a modern, international feel.
Working on the 'Nachange Saari Raat' Bollytech remix against the Perth skyline at sunset. The track captures that end-of-day energy, perfect for a night out.
Crafting the 'Kabhi Jo Badal' Bollytech remix from a balcony overlooking the sea. The calm, expansive view helped shape the track's smooth and atmospheric vibe.
Another session working on my 'Bheegey Hont' Bollytech remix. The changing sky and open air are a core part of my creative process, allowing me to make music that feels alive.
Under the lights of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, I worked on the 'Ilahi' vs Afro House mashup. The city's romantic and energetic nightlife was the perfect backdrop for this track.
Sitting by the canals in Amsterdam, I created the 'Tera Mera Rishta' Tribal House mashup. The city's unique blend of history and modern life inspired this track's layered sound.
A moment of inspiration in Amsterdam. This city's vibe contributed to the sounds and ideas that formed my Bollytech Mashup Pack.
My DJ setup in the middle of a rocky riverbed in Manali. This session for my Spotlight Podcast was about connecting with nature and creating a set that reflected the raw power of the Himalayas.
A polaroid from my Manali session. Taking my decks into the mountains is a reminder that music can and should be made anywhere.
About My Studio is the World
I carry my entire production rig in a single backpack. Whether it is an Afro-House remix inspired by the Mauritius coastline or a Techno-infused mashup against the Perth skyline, my workflow is designed to be mobile. This ensures the raw energy of the location is locked into every beat before it fades.
My studio is not a room. It is a portable setup that I take to the hills of Manali, the streets of Amsterdam, and the shorelines of Mauritius. This lifestyle allows me to capture the unique pulse of a place and infuse it directly into my Bollytech sound.
The Workflow
Every track starts with a location-based concept. When I am in Paris or New York, the nightlife and the atmosphere dictate the rhythm. I utilize professional-grade DAWs and VSTs to ensure that my mobile productions sound just as punchy as studio-recorded tracks.
- Rhythm Control: I match every track to consistent dance-floor BPMs, typically between 124 and 128, ensuring seamless playability for club DJs.
- Sonic Clarity: I handle everything from vocal extraction to the final loudness processing, delivering commercial-ready WAV and MP3 files.
Why Global Production Matters
Music is about feeling, not just technical specs. By producing in diverse environments, I avoid the sterile sound of traditional studios. Whether I am reworking an Arijit Singh hit for a club setting or crafting a brand-new electronic project from scratch, I bring that 'world' energy with me.
If you want your music to stand out, it needs an edge that isn't found in a textbook. Let's create something that actually hits.
Tejas
I’m Tejas. I don't believe in four walls when the world has better acoustics. I make music wherever the vibe hits—whether that's a riverbed in Manali or a balcony in Paris.
