High-Energy Festival & Street Party DJ Sets
Bringing the pulse of the streets to the main stage. From Diwali Pahat to Holi ragers, this is how I turn massive crowds into one big, dancing force.
This is what it feels like when an entire street comes alive. Performing at the Prarambh Diwali Pahat is an incredible experience, with a sea of people dancing from the early morning. It's proof that when the music is right, the crowd's energy is unstoppable.
My yearly ritual at Dharavi Koliwada for Holi is pure, raw energy. This video gives you my point of view from the DJ console, right in the middle of the action. There's no barrier between me and the crowd, just a shared celebration.
A view from my console during a packed Ganesh festival set for Dharavicha Sukhakarta. The top image shows the massive crowd I'm playing for, and the bottom shows me locked in on my Pioneer DJ setup, mixing the perfect track for the moment. This is happiness.
A huge part of my performance is connecting directly with the audience. I don't just play tracks; I get on the mic to hype the crowd, guide the energy, and make sure everyone feels like part of the show. This is how we build a vibe together.
Throwback to my very first Diwali Pahat performance in 2022. The energy from this crowd was electric and it set the stage for my return as a headliner. This video captures the excitement of me counting down the drop for a street full of people ready to dance.
About Featured
I don't just stand behind the console. Whether it's a 5:00 AM Diwali Pahat in Vikhroli or a chaotic Holi session in Dharavi, I am on the mic, in the crowd, and locked into the rhythm. My sets are about reading the room, mixing global beats with local Marathi favorites, and ensuring every single person feels the music.
How I Get The Crowd Moving
Music is about connection. When I am on stage, my focus is on breaking the barrier between the artist and the audience. I use a mix of commercial Bollywood, Afro-house, and high-octane Marathi tracks that hit home for the local crowd. If the energy dips, I switch the tempo instantly.
My Festival Approach
- Direct Engagement: I am not a fan of hiding behind a laptop. I use the mic to hype the crowd and jump off stage when the vibe needs an extra boost.
- Local Roots, Global Sound: From headline sets at Prarambh Diwali Pahat to the yearly madness at Dharavi Koliwada, I adapt my set to the specific event. It is about understanding the pulse of the crowd—whether that is a devotional morning set or an all-out street party.
- The Gear: I insist on using professional Pioneer gear to ensure the sound hits right every single time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you play for large street festivals? Absolutely. Street festivals are where I started. I am comfortable managing technical requirements for large crowds and working with sound teams to get the bass right.
Do you take requests? My set is open-format. I love playing Bollywood and house hits, but if the crowd wants regional Marathi tracks, we make it happen. The goal is to keep everyone dancing.
