- Objective: Focus on retention and steady bar sales rather than peak-hour hysteria.
Technical Requirements
- Artist Gear: DJ brings professional monitoring headphones, microphone, and Rekordbox music library on USBs.
- Venue Gear: Client must provide industry-standard console (2x Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus/3000 & DJM 900 Nexus Mixer) and PA system.
Vibe Control
- Mic Duties: Basic engagement only. Focus is on smooth mixing to keep footfall moving between the bar and the floor.
Prime Weekend Headliner Set
Performance Scope
- Duration: 3-4 hours dedicated to 'Prime Time' energy (e.g., 10:00 PM - 1:30 AM).
- Genre Specialization: Focus on high-BPM Bollywood Remixes, Punjabi Bhangra, and Afro-House drops.
- Mixing Style: Rapid-fire cutting between genres and mashups.
Hype & Interaction
- MC Duties: Aggressive use of the microphone to command the crowd and build energy.
- Visuals: Coordination with venue Light Jockey for CO2 blasts or lighting spikes during drops.
- Promotion: Includes pre-event promotion on artist social media channels to drive follower attendance.
Artist Presentation
- Attire: DJ performs in styled artist attire to match premium event aesthetics.
Live Fusion Duo (DJ + Percussion)

What I Do: All About Vibe
I’m Sam Velocity. When I hit the decks, my only mission is to set the vibe and keep the crowd moving. It's not just about mixing tracks - it's about making the whole room feel that beat drop. No pretence, just pure energy. Sometimes I yell, “Haath upar kara sab log!” (Everybody, put your hands up!), and that’s when I know the party’s alive.
My Sound: Always Switching It Up
- I play open format, so the mix keeps changing - no one knows what’s next.
- Bollywood club night and Punjabi party DJ sets are my specialty; expect insane Bhangra beats and the latest tracks.
- I throw in commercial hits, house, and global sounds like Afro House for that international twist.
- Love blending electronic with live - sometimes I bring percussionists for a live percussion DJ set, adding djembe and darbuka to the mix.

- Every gig is different - regular nights, themed parties, major rager vibes.

My Story
Hey, I’m DJ Sam Velocity. Music’s my way of making memories. Played in wild places – Thailand, Turkey, even Tanzania with that salty ocean air. But coming back to India, spinning at Diwali Pahat in Vikroli or Holi in Dharavi Koliwada, that’s magic. For me, DJing isn’t just music, it’s flipping the vibe of a room. Gardi mule naav hot nahi... naavamule gardi hote. (A crowd doesn’t make a name, a name makes the crowd.) Blessed to be in this game.
