Bringing the right mix of traditional beats and high-energy fusion to your campus celebrations.
The energy at the CanaraVikaas Dandiya Night was off the charts. I love dropping fusion tracks and watching the whole crowd move together.

About Dandiya, Ethnic Days & Themed Parties
When I spin for an ethnic day or a Dandiya night, it is not just about playing the same old tracks on loop. I focus on the transition between traditional folk rhythms and high-energy Bollywood fusion, ensuring the tempo builds up perfectly as the crowd gets moving. I also take charge of the mic for specific cultural moments, like announcing the best-dressed awards or guiding circle formations, so your event feels organized and lively.
Theme-based events require a specific type of flow. It is not enough to just press play on a playlist. My approach starts with a curated library that blends traditional Garba and folk hits with modern Bollywood anthems. This fusion is what keeps a crowd of hundreds engaged, whether it is a massive Dandiya night like the ones I have played for Canara Vikaas or a more relaxed college Ethnic Day in Davanagere.
Why Themed Events Are Different
For ethnic and themed parties, I manage the tempo of the entire evening. I start with softer, traditional beats that allow people to settle in and find their rhythm, then progressively increase the energy as the night moves toward the mass dance finale. This progression is key to preventing the crowd from burning out too early.
My Setup for Cultural Events
I bring my professional Pioneer DJ gear and a backup music source, which is critical for long-duration sets where a second of silence can kill the festive mood. I also arrive early for a full sound check, ensuring that even if we are using the college's existing PA system, the audio remains crisp and loud.
Keeping the Crowd Engaged
Beyond the music, I act as your host for the event. If you need announcements for competition winners, circle formations, or just a shout-out to keep the energy high during a lull, I have the mic covered. My goal is to make sure that everyone, from the first-year student to the college staff, feels the pulse of the music.
