When I am headlining a festival, I do not just stick to a pre-recorded playlist. I read the crowd's energy live. If you need a high-tempo Punjabi transition to keep the mosh pit going or a sudden shift to commercial house to lift the vibe, I am reacting in real-time to keep the dance floor packed.
Whether it is the chaotic, colorful madness of a Holi gig in Gwalior or the massive, high-octane Navratri nights in Rajkot, I live for festival sets. These are not just DJ gigs; they are large-scale experiences.
For festivals, I switch to an open-format approach that blends tradition with current bangers. For Navratri, I mix iconic Bollywood dance tracks with high-energy electronic drops that keep the Garba energy peaking for hours. During college fests like SNMC in Agra, I know the drill: the crowd wants chart-topping Punjabi hits, viral reel songs, and high-energy transitions that keep the party moving until the lights come up.
I am also big on thematic nights. From Halloween Fiestas in Noida to Valentine’s Soirees, I tailor my playlist and mic presence to match the vibe of the event. I use the mic to hype the crowd, handle countdowns, and build the anticipation before the drop.
Logistics note: I travel light but bring the energy. For large setups, I work with the venue's Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 or equivalent console to ensure my mixes stay seamless. If you have props like cold pyro or CO2 guns, I am comfortable working those into the set to make those big moments truly LIT.
