I don't just hit play on a playlist. My sets are built to keep dancers comfortable, meaning I watch the floor's energy and adjust the tempo of the Salsa and Bachata tracks to match the skill level of the crowd, whether it's a room full of beginners or seasoned pros.
The challenge with most Latin nights is finding the right balance between technical dance music and crowd engagement. I treat every social or festival set like a curated conversation. Using my background in Salsa and Bachata instruction, I understand exactly when the floor needs a high-energy track to push the pace or a more grounded Kizomba beat to let people catch their breath.
My signature approach is the Bollykiz fusion. I blend the heavy, rhythmic Afro-Latin beats with familiar Bollywood and Punjabi melodies. This connects the global soundscape with the desi rhythm, making the music accessible to everyone, not just experienced dancers. Whether you are hosting an event at a venue like La Cena or organizing a festival in Bengaluru, the goal remains the same: music that compels people to move.
Logistically, I come prepared with my console. I work with your venue team to ensure the audio output is crisp and clear, as proper sound is essential for rhythm-based dancing.
