About this collection
People often ask how I found my sound, and it always goes back to that first Indigo Hotmix set with DJ Ivan and Rohit Barker. That 30-minute window of house and tech-house was my first real test. It taught me that playing for a radio audience is completely different from reading a live crowd at a club, as you have to tell a story through the mix without seeing the people dancing in front of you.
From those early radio days to holding residencies at spots like Secret Story and Magique, my approach has always been about the mix. When I am on the decks, I rely on my Pioneer XDJ controller and Rekordbox software to ensure there is zero dead air. It is the same discipline I bring to every private house party or rooftop gig across Bengaluru.
Whether I am spinning Afro House, Bollywood, or Tech House, the goal remains the same: keep the energy high.
My Approach to Live Sets
- Technical Setup: I bring my own MacBook Pro and professional console. I handle all cabling, so I just need your audio output to get the music flowing.
- Curated Playlists: Before any event, we have a 15-minute sync call to align on your 'Do Not Play' list and specific music tastes.
- Crowd Interaction: I use the mic to hype up the room, announce couples, or build up a drop, keeping the vibe tight from start to finish.
