About Wedding & Sangeet Parties
When I handle your Sangeet, I don't just hit play. I work closely with your family beforehand to sync the music with specific dance choreographies, ensuring your friends and cousins have the exact timing they need for their performances. This coordination helps smooth out the transitions so the party flow never breaks.
A wedding is a marathon, not a sprint. My goal is to read the room and bridge the gap between generations. We start with soulful, old-school Bollywood tracks that the elders enjoy during the initial ceremonies, and as the night progresses, I ramp up the energy with high-octane Punjabi hits and current Bollywood chartbusters.
The VDJ Advantage
Unlike a standard DJ, I bring a full VDJ setup to your Sangeet and reception. This means I’m live-mixing music videos and visuals on the screen, which adds a completely different level of 'josh' to the atmosphere. Whether it’s a romantic montage during your first dance or vibrant visuals that sync with the beat during the after-party, it keeps the crowd visually engaged.
My Wedding Setup
- Concert-Grade Sound: For larger gatherings of 300+ guests, I use a heavy-duty sound array (line arrays or a 4-top/4-sub stack) to ensure the bass hits the back of the banquet hall just as hard as the front.
- Live Dhol Fusion: To add that raw, authentic energy to your Sangeet, I can coordinate with live Dhol players who jam alongside my sets. It brings a unique, live performance element that gets everyone on the dance floor.
- Professional Presence: I know that the Sangeet is a formal celebration, so I perform in appropriate ethnic wear—Kurta or a sharp jacket—to match the vibe of your event.
I’m based in Bangalore and comfortable traveling for outstation weddings. My setup includes everything from the Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus gear to the wireless mics for those emotional family speeches.
