Global Crossover Mashups & Custom Dance Tracks
From Bollywood x Afro House to Punjabi x Hip Hop, I blend genres that shouldn't work together—but do. If you want a sound that’s fresh, unexpected, and guaranteed to get people moving, let's mix it up. Are Chak!
This is a crossover mashup designed to blow up both South Asian and Western dance floors. It starts as a techno house tune and drops into a massive Bollywood banger.
When spinning for a global audience, the mix has to appeal universally. Here's a brand new track where I've mixed Punjabi Giddah vocals with a driving tech house tune.
Honey Singh meets hip hop in this cross-continental mashup of 'Kalaastar' and 'Pretty Girls Walk'. This mix is for fans of both Bollywood and hip hop, bringing two worlds together.
Here's my cross-continental Afrobeat mashup of the viral track 'Khalasi'. It’s a perfect example of how I blend Indian folk with global rhythms to create something fresh for the dance floor.
An unexpected fusion of 'Ramta Jogi' and 'Ain't No Sunshine'. This mashup explores the emotional depth of both tracks, creating a unique and soulful blend.
Here's a mashup nobody asked for but everyone needs. The legendary Lata Mangeshkar meets the modern sounds of Peggy Gou in two epic tunes made for the dance floor.
Every festival deserves a new mix. For Holi, I created this high-energy mashup of 'Let's Play Holi' and the hip hop classic 'All The Way Up'.
About Global Crossover Mashups
When I create these crossovers, I don't just mash two tracks together and call it a day. I focus on technical engineering like harmonic key-matching and tempo standardization, which ensures that even wild combinations—like Punjabi Giddah vocals over a driving tech-house beat—sound seamless on a high-end venue system. This approach stops the music from sounding jarring on the dance floor and keeps the energy levels consistent from start to finish.
Beyond the Standard Playlist
Most DJs just hit 'next' on a pre-made list, but my process is rooted in two decades of studio experience. When you book a custom mashup for a Sangeet, reception, or private party, I treat the audio like a live production. I look at the vibe of your event and build a sound that bridges the gap between different musical tastes.
The Technical Edge
- Harmonic Mixing: I align the musical keys of songs to prevent dissonance, meaning transitions between, say, a slow Bollywood ballad and an upbeat Afrobeat track feel natural rather than clashing.
- Tempo Synchronization: I adjust the BPM of all tracks to a consistent tempo (usually around 128 BPM) so dancers don't lose their rhythm halfway through a performance.
- Signature Layering: I add custom drum loops, kick drums, and FX sweeps in the studio to give the final mix that 'club' weight that standard MP3s lack.
How We Work Together
Whether you need a 3-minute entry track or a full 15-minute set for a Sangeet, my workflow is designed to be efficient. After we discuss your vision, I handle the production, including stem separation (isolating vocals from original tracks), and deliver a mastered WAV file within 48 to 72 hours. You get two rounds of edits to make sure the cuts align perfectly with your choreography or lighting cues. The goal is to give you a unique soundtrack that nobody else at the wedding has heard before. Theek hai?
