About Additional Work & Moments
You see the final set on the floor, but the real work happens long before the crowd arrives. Whether I am prepping gear for a private party in Mumbai or syncing with fellow artists for a destination wedding, I spend hours making sure the transition between deep house and high-energy Bollywood tracks hits right every single time.
People often think DJing is just about showing up and pressing play, but it is 80% preparation and 20% performance. This collection of moments shows the reality of the grind—the setup, the sound checks, and the collaborations with other talented musicians.
Why the process matters
- Venue Adaptation: Whether I am playing at Bombay Cartel or a private bungalow in Alibaug, the sound setup is never the same. I work with what is available to ensure the audio quality stays crisp.
- Collaborative Energy: I love bringing in live percussionists or saxophonists for a DJ plus live jam. It adds a layer of depth that a standard track list just cannot provide.
- Crowd Reading: My job is to watch the floor. If a deep house track isn't landing, I switch to commercial Bollywood instantly. It is all about reading the room and keeping the vibe high.
When you book me, you are not just getting someone to play songs. You are getting someone who cares about the technical side of the sound and the energy of the crowd. I take my console, my connections, and my preparation seriously so you can focus on the party.
Henry Fernandes
I live for the energy of a packed dance floor, but the real fun happens in the prep and the late-night collaborations with my crew. Being a DJ is not just a job to me; it is how I connect with people, whether we are in a club in Mumbai or at a destination wedding.
