When I am behind the console at spots like Tipsy Bull or The Fixx Bar, I am watching every move. If the energy dips, I am ready with a track from my 'vibe-saver' folder to flip the room instantly. It is about seamless mixing, whether it is a 90s Bollywood hit or a fresh electronic beat, to ensure no one leaves the floor.
The Club Difference
While weddings are about sustained, generational enjoyment, club sets require a faster, punchier pace. I thrive on the unpredictability of a Saturday night crowd. My sets are a fusion of Commercial, House, and desi anthems, specifically tailored to the pulse of Bengaluru’s nightlife. I do not just play music; I curate the mood.
How I Work the Room
- Live Elements: I incorporate gear like the Native Instruments Maschine to add live grooves and beats, making every set unique.
- Genre-Bending: I blend 90s nostalgia with modern chartbusters. Whether it is a Kannada super hit like '3 Peg' or a global pop track, the transition has to be smooth.
- The Vibe-Saver: Every DJ needs a backup plan. When I see the crowd losing interest, I drop a proven classic—Gangnam Style, or a classic Punjabi anthem—to instantly bring the volume and energy back up.
