About Behind the Decks
Most DJs just play music and look down at their decks, but I work differently. I spend as much time on the microphone as I do mixing tracks. My goal is to get everyone, from the shy uncle to the dance floor enthusiast, moving to the beat. Whether it is a corporate award night or a wedding sangeet, I am reading the energy of your crowd in real-time and adjusting the flow to keep the momentum high.
When you book me, you are getting a full-scale performance, not just a guy with a laptop. I pride myself on being an 'Open Format' DJ. This means I seamlessly blend Bollywood hits, high-energy Punjabi beats, classic 90s tracks, and the latest Kannada chart-toppers to keep the floor packed for 5 to 6 hours.
My technical setup is built for performance. Depending on your guest count, I bring everything from professional JBL or Yamaha PA systems to a full LED video wall and intelligent lighting rigs that include moving head Sharpy lights and smoke machines. If you are hosting a wedding or a corporate event at a venue like Topic Craft Bar & Kitchen, I ensure the audio levels are balanced so you can talk during dinner and then turn the intensity up for the dance set.
I treat every gig like a festival. I arrive at your venue 60 minutes early for a full sound check to make sure the bass is hitting right and the microphones are crisp for any toasts or announcements. I do not play pre-recorded sets because every party has a different pulse. I watch your crowd, gauge their vibe, and pick the next song based on what will keep them dancing until the lights go up.
