This setup isn't just a speaker on a truck. It is an aluminum-trussed DJ station with 4 tops, 2 subs, and a silent generator, ensuring the sound stays crisp even while we are moving through traffic. The Setup
I use a custom-fabricated open-deck tempo equipped with a heavy-duty truss frame. This is about balance and volume. The sound system includes 4 tops and 2 subwoofers, powered by a 5-7.5 KVA silent generator that handles the entire load without needing venue power. Whether we are in the busy streets of Mumbai or at a resort in Lonavala, the music stays consistent and distortion-free.
Logistics and Flow
I arrive before the baraat begins to secure the equipment on the truck. The setup includes an onboard DJ console, so I am right there in the thick of the action, reading the crowd and mixing Bollywood and Punjabi bangers on the fly. The truck follows the procession at a steady pace, and the music never cuts out.
