Inside My Delhi Home Studio: Music Production
Ever wondered how a hit track gets that club-ready energy? Take a peek into my studio where I layer, mix, and mash up beats on FL Studio to build the sound for your next big night.
A sneak peek of a project file in FL Studio. This is for my upcoming remix of AP Dhillon's "Sleepless", showing how I arrange the different audio elements and build the track from scratch.
This is a screen recording of my work on the "Tere Vaaste X Let The Music Play" edit. You can see the different audio waveforms and how I align the beats and vocals to create a smooth transition between the two songs.
Here's a look at the project file for my "Doobey X One Kiss" mix. This shows the complexity of the production, with multiple layers of beats, basslines, and vocal chops all working together.
About Behind the Scenes: My Creative Process
Every mashup starts as a blank canvas in FL Studio. I don't just layer tracks, I break down the original vocals, isolate the stems, and rebuild the percussion from the ground up. Whether it is a Sangeet choreography edit or a high-tempo club banger, I focus on precise beat-matching and harmonic alignment so the energy never drops when the crowd is moving.
How I Build a Track
Music production is where I spend most of my time, away from the stage lights. My process is entirely digital, using FL Studio to experiment until I find that perfect vibe. I look at each song as a collection of elements. I extract the vocals (acapella) and completely overhaul the rhythm section. This means adding fresh basslines, custom percussion loops, and those punchy, heavy drops that make a track 'hit' harder on a big sound system.
Custom Mashups for Your Event
If you need something for a Sangeet or a dance performance, we start by looking at your song list. I take up to 3 tracks and blend them. The technical part involves removing long interludes, fixing the tempo (BPM) so your choreography doesn't trip up, and ensuring the key changes are smooth. You get a lossless WAV file and an MP3 version, with enough time to practice your moves before the event.
VDJ and Visual Syncing
Beyond audio, I also do visual editing. If you want a VDJ experience for a screen or social media, I sync the video cuts exactly to the kick and snare hits. This is perfect for Instagram Reels or for playing on LED walls at weddings. I handle the sourcing of high-resolution footage and apply effects to make the transitions look sharp and professional.
Whether you need a club-ready extended mix with 32-beat intros or a fun, meme-style mashup, my goal is to give you a sound you won't hear anywhere else.
