Little Gods & Goddesses Festival Baby Shoots in Mumbai
Thinking of capturing your little one in a festive avatar? Whether it is a mischievous Kanha for Janmashtami or a tiny Ram for Ram Navami, these thematic shoots are all about celebrating our traditions with a playful twist.
How adorable is this little Ram! I love celebrating festivals with these special themed photoshoots. We used a tiny crown, traditional orange dhoti, and a miniature throne to create this divine look for Ram Navami.
Here’s another one of my favorite festival themes, our little Kanha for Janmashtami! The setup includes peacock feathers, a pot of butter, and a flute. These shoots are so much fun and create such unique pictures.
About Little Gods & Goddesses
Getting these festive looks right is all about patience and using the right props, yaar. I spend time sourcing soft, baby-friendly costumes—no itchy fabrics—and we always prioritize a comfortable, temperature-controlled setup where your baby can just be their adorable self while I capture the magic.
I absolutely love creating these 'Little Gods & Goddesses' setups. It is not just about the clothes; it is about bringing that divine, joyful energy to your photos.
Why these themes work
Whether it is the flute and peacock feathers for a Janmashtami shoot or the royal chair and crown for Ram Navami, these props tell a story. My studio is stocked with high-quality, sanitized outfits so you do not have to stress about sourcing anything yourself.
The Setup Process
For these sessions, I always have a dedicated assistant on hand to ensure the baby is 100% safe, especially when using props like mini thrones or baskets. We allow for plenty of breaks—your baby needs to eat, sleep, and cuddle, and we work around that schedule.
Where we shoot
- In-Studio (Kurla/Borivali): This is where I have the full range of backdrops and fixed props like the 'Little Krishna' pots or the 'Ram' thrones.
- Timing: For these sessions, aim to book at least 2 weeks before the festival so we can coordinate outfits and props.
These sessions are about capturing the 'bachpana' (childhood fun) before it flies by. If you have a specific festival or theme in mind, tell me! I am always up for a new creative challenge, bas yuhi.
