This video gives a tour of a sleek, modern rooftop garden we designed. The layout includes raised planters with integrated LED strip lighting, a durable composite wood deck, and a clean pathway of white stepping stones set into an artificial lawn.
To create a private, tropical paradise feel, we used lush tree ferns and dense foliage to enclose this patio. The space is furnished with contemporary seating and a portable fire pit, making it a perfect urban escape.
This minimalist patio design focuses on clean lines and a calm color palette. We used large format porcelain tiles, simple modern furniture, and subtle uplighting on the plants to create a sophisticated and uncluttered seating area.
We designed this garden to create a seamless transition between the indoor living area and the outdoor deck. The large sliding glass doors open up to a multi-level space with wooden decking and raised planters, effectively extending the home's living space.
This terrace design combines different materials for a modern look. We used composite decking for the floor, a vertical wood-slat wall for privacy and texture, and sleek grey planters with spiral topiaries to add a touch of formal greenery.
Even a smaller covered balcony can become a functional retreat. We installed a compact bar counter and used a combination of wood-look tiles and an artificial grass patch to define the space, which is filled with a variety of potted plants for a lush feel.
About Modern Terrace Lounges
When designing terrace lounge areas, our focus is on optimizing the available footprint for both seating and movement. We typically utilize WPC decking to delineate lounge zones and construct fixed masonry benches along the perimeter, ensuring the layout remains functional and weather-resistant without cluttering the center of your space.
We approach terrace lounge design as a construction project rather than a cosmetic task. Our process begins with a site survey to assess the layout, ensuring that all permanent structures allow for proper drainage and safe navigation.
We categorize our lounge construction into three service tiers to match different requirements:
- Softscaping: A non-construction upgrade using 35mm to 45mm high-density artificial turf and pre-cast stepping stones. This is ideal for defining a green lounge area without heavy civil work.
- Hardscaping & Masonry: We construct permanent L-shaped or U-shaped bench seating using brick masonry, finished with weather-proof exterior texture paint. This is paired with WPC decking to separate the seating area from walkways.
- Premium Structures: For a complete outdoor room, we fabricate MS pergolas with glass or WPC roofing, install high-density vertical gardens for privacy, and build custom service counters with integrated electrical provisions.
Our installation team manages every step of the process. We integrate warm white LED strip lighting under seating lips and inside planter boxes to ensure the space is functional in the evening. All materials, from UV-resistant turf to moisture-treated wood composites, are selected specifically for the Delhi NCR climate to reduce long-term maintenance.
