About At-Home Lifestyle Sessions
I don't bring heavy studio lights, beanbags, or complex props to these sessions. We rely entirely on the natural window light in your home and your own comfortable environment to keep the shoot relaxed, letting me focus on the candid interactions between you and your baby rather than on perfect, posed framing.
Choosing an at-home session means we capture your family as you really are. Whether it is morning cuddles on your bed, reading stories in the nursery, or messy play on the living room floor, these photos become a time capsule of your everyday life.
My lifestyle photography approach is documentary, which means I won't ask your toddler to stay perfectly still or force anyone into awkward poses. Instead, I provide gentle direction to make sure we get the best light and angles while everyone stays comfortable.
What to expect
- Lighting: We will use natural light from your windows, so it is best to keep these sessions during the day.
- Duration: These sessions usually last between 90 minutes and 2 hours, giving us plenty of time for feeding breaks, clothing changes, or just waiting for the baby to settle.
- Planning: Before I arrive, we will chat about which rooms have the best light and how to coordinate your outfits so everything looks cohesive without feeling staged.
- Deliverables: You receive 25 to 30 color-corrected, soft-edited images that prioritize a bright, airy, and natural aesthetic.
Since I travel to you, these sessions are ideal if you want to avoid the stress of traveling to a studio with a newborn or toddler. It is just me, my camera, and your family in your own safe space.
