Behind The Decks: DJ Dhyan’s Live Sets
Step into my office. These are the moments from the console where the music, the crowd, and my signature Bolly-Tech style collide.

About this collection
It is never just about hitting play; it is about reading the energy of the room in real-time. Whether I am at a high-energy club like Vault in Pune or a sunset set at Raasta Bombay, I am constantly watching the crowd, tweaking the mix, and layering in beats to keep the tempo exactly where the dance floor needs it. If you want a party that feels alive and unpredictable, this is how I build it.
My approach to a DJ set is built on 'No plan, just flow.' I don't believe in rigid, pre-recorded playlists. Instead, I focus on the Bolly-Tech sound—taking familiar Bollywood and Punjabi tracks and flipping them into driving tech-house bangers. This creates a sonic journey that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
The Setup and Sound
When you see me at the decks, I am usually blending three or four tracks at once, often looping percussion or adding live elements like the tabla or harmonium if the vibe calls for it. My goal is to make the crowd louder than the speakers. I focus on track selection that moves from deep, bass-heavy house rhythms to massive drops that keep people moving for hours.
Reading the Crowd
Every venue has a different heartbeat. At a place like Shiloh in Mumbai, the vibe might be intimate and moody, requiring a slower buildup. At larger festivals or club gigs like Freq, the energy demands faster transitions and heavy-hitting basslines. I read the room's energy—are they singing along to a retro classic or waiting for a high-octane drop? I pivot based on that feedback loop.
Versatility Across Events
I bring this same production-grade focus to every event, whether it is a massive wedding sangeet, a 'Coffee Rave' with no alcohol, or a corporate party. I believe the music should define the mood, from classy Diwali nights to wild Holi festivals. If you are looking for a DJ who brings technical precision but keeps the soul of the music intact, let’s discuss the vibe for your next event.
Dhyan
I’m Dhyan, and my office is wherever the speakers are thumping. I don't just play tracks; I flip classics into club bangers and blend tech house with desi hits. If you want a party where the energy doesn't drop, let’s talk.
