My studio process is not about perfectly polishing every sound to death. You will notice I prioritize the feel over technical perfection, ensuring these edits hit hard in any room, from packed clubs to intimate private gigs.
When you hear one of my edits in a club, it usually started as a rough idea on my keyboard. I focus on the 'Bolly-Tech' sound, which is basically taking those nostalgic, timeless melodies and injecting them with the driving basslines of tech house. It is not just about layering a beat over a song. I look for the hook that people know and love, then I flip the energy so it lands differently.
Whether it is taking a track like 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen' and giving it a house structure or blending Latin influences with Punjabi vocals, the goal is always to keep the crowd guessing. I use a mix of controllers and live sampling to keep things fresh. When I am in the studio, I am thinking about how a song will feel at 2 AM in a crowded club versus how it might play during a corporate sundowner. That adaptability is why my sets work for everything from a high-energy Holi party to a more laid-back private event in cities like Mumbai or Pune.
