When I do a pixie or a bob, I use a visual, freehand approach to ensure the layers sit naturally, so you aren't stuck with a high-maintenance style that loses its shape after three weeks. I prioritize creating a 'lived-in' feel that actually works with your hair's natural texture, meaning you can wake up, run your fingers through it, and be ready to go.
A lot of people are scared to go short because they think it's one-size-fits-all, but it’s actually the opposite. Whether it's a sharp bob, a choppy pixie, or a bold undercut, the cut has to be mapped to your face shape and hair density. That is why I don't follow a strict rulebook or a standard pattern. I start with a 15-minute consultation to look at your hair's growth pattern and how you style it at home.
For my clients at Looks Salon in Khan Market, I typically use a mix of point-cutting for texture and slicing to remove weight without creating that 'shelf' effect.
