Garment Upcycling & Hand-Painting
Assessment & Design
- Feasibility check for covering stains or changing styles (e.g., shawl to jacket).
- Choice of hand-painting, patchwork, or structural reconstruction.
Execution
- Use of permanent, dry-clean resistant Staedtler fabric paints.
- Deconstruction and sewing of old garments (sarees, coats, or shawls).
- Edging and hemming of repurposed fabrics.
- Scotchgard layer application for stain resistance (where applicable).

My biggest strength is designing clothes that make you look leaner and taller. I use cuts and shapes that flatter your body, not hide it. I’ve helped women of all sizes, especially plus-size, feel good in their skin. If you want something that makes you look 5-7 kilos lighter, I’m your person.

Saree Upcycling Ideas & Quick Fixes
Old sarees, shawls, even bedcovers - I love turning them into new outfits. I can make a kaftan, dress, or skirt from your old pieces. If you want a quick upgrade, I have embroidered neck patches (Kashmiri, Gujarati, etc.) to jazz up a plain kurta.
Hand-Painted Clothing Designs
I’m also an artist. If you’ve got a stain or just want something unique, I can hand-paint your clothes. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and lasts long.
How I Work
I’m based in South Delhi, working by appointment only. I give you my full attention, and I’ll share tips on how to look patla (slimmer) and taller. Not in Delhi? No problem - I work online and deliver all over India.
