I see portraits as stories, not just pictures. My approach is all about catching a mood, a moment, or that quiet in-between feeling you might not even notice yourself. I’m a Russian fotograf v Indii (photographer in India), but my heart and camera are focused right here.
What Makes My Portraits Different
- Creative portraiture for me means going beyond the usual headshot. I want your photo to feel like a movie still or something you’d see in a gallery.
- Most of my work is a black and white portrait session. I strip away color to focus on light, shadow, and raw emotion. It’s simple, but it hits hard.
- I use dramatic lighting photography - sometimes it’s soft and moody, sometimes sharp and bold. We might play with fabrics, veils, or even just shadows to get the right vibe.
- Sometimes, eti foto dolzhny byli nastoyat'sya (these photos need to age like wine) before I share them. I’m a bit picky about what feels finished.
How We Work Together
- I don’t do this alone. There’s a small team with me - hair, makeup, styling, lighting. You just show up as you are, and we’ll handle the rest.
- Sessions happen in Delhi or Hyderabad, mostly in a studio. I like having full control over the light and mood.

Hey, I’m Natalia. Home is Russia for me, all mixed up feelings, sweet and sad - can’t forget it. But now, I split my days between Delhi and Hyderabad, chasing light and shadows. I believe you gotta watch with your eyes, not just look. My camera’s my journal, picking up moods, not just faces. Some call me Natalia, some Del Verma – both are me, always listening, always watching.
