Black & White Studio Portraiture
Session Logistics
- Duration: 2 hours of dedicated studio time.
- Location: Professional rental studio in South Delhi or Hyderabad included in the cost.
- Wardrobe: Accommodates up to 2 outfit changes (client provides wardrobe).
Creative Direction
- Posing: Expert guidance on posing with a focus on emotive gaze and hand placement.
- Lighting: 1 to 2 light setup designed to create dramatic shadows and high contrast aesthetics.
- Style: Focus on a grainy, film like black and white look.
Deliverables
- Edits: 5 high end retouched images including detailed skin texture work and dodge & burn techniques.
- Selection: Online digital gallery to choose final images from approximately 50 raw previews.
- Timeline: Final delivery within 7 to 10 days.

- Hair & Makeup: Not included in this package (client must arrive ready or book separately).
Cinematic Editorial & Video Package
Production Scope
- Duration: 4 to 5 hour half day session.
- Concept: Pre shoot consultation for mood board creation and styling advice.
- Wardrobe: Accommodates 3 to 4 distinct looks.
- Props: Access to editorial kit including veils, netting, fabrics, pearl accessories, and prisms.
Technical Execution
- Lighting: Complex multi light setups using colored gels, snoots, and haze for atmospheric effects.
- Team: Includes 1 lighting assistant to manage modifiers and dynamic elements.
- Coaching: Intensive direction on unconventional angles and expression control.
Deliverables
- Images: 10 fully retouched fine art images (mix of color editorial and signature B&W).
- Video: 1 professionally graded cinematic reel (15 to 30 seconds) suitable for social media.
- Proofing: Selection gallery containing over 100 images.
Coordination
- HMUA: Recommendations and coordination with preferred editorial makeup artists (actual artist fees are paid separately by the client).
About Creative Portraiture
I see portraits as stories, not just pictures. My approach is all about catching a mood, a moment, or that quiet in-between feeling you might not even notice yourself. I’m a Russian fotograf v Indii (photographer in India), but my heart and camera are focused right here.
What Makes My Portraits Different
- Creative portraiture for me means going beyond the usual headshot. I want your photo to feel like a movie still or something you’d see in a gallery.
- Most of my work is a black and white portrait session. I strip away color to focus on light, shadow, and raw emotion. It’s simple, but it hits hard.
- I use dramatic lighting photography - sometimes it’s soft and moody, sometimes sharp and bold. We might play with fabrics, veils, or even just shadows to get the right vibe.
- Sometimes, eti foto dolzhny byli nastoyat'sya (these photos need to age like wine) before I share them. I’m a bit picky about what feels finished.
How We Work Together
- I don’t do this alone. There’s a small team with me - hair, makeup, styling, lighting. You just show up as you are, and we’ll handle the rest.
- Sessions happen in Delhi or Hyderabad, mostly in a studio. I like having full control over the light and mood.
