About Champa: Ethereal Organza Sarees
Because these are pure organza, they carry a crisp, voluminous drape that naturally holds its shape. To make the most of this, I suggest pairing them with a satin or shimmer petticoat, which balances the transparency while allowing the intricate zari work to catch the light.
The Champa collection represents my pursuit of light, festive elegance. Organza is a demanding fabric; it requires a steady hand and a patient loom to achieve that signature crispness without sacrificing the softness of pure silk. Every saree in this collection is crafted from 100% kora silk, chosen specifically for its ability to hold voluminous folds and capture the light through its translucent weave.
I integrate hand-woven gold or silver zari to create the windowpane checks and subtle geometric motifs that define these pieces. The pallu work is intentionally intricate, offering a contrast to the airy body of the saree. These are not everyday drapes. They are intended for occasions where you want to move with grace, feeling the weightlessness of the fabric as you move.
Because organza is sheer by nature, each piece includes a matching blouse fabric. I recommend pairing these with a satin under-skirt to create a clean, luminous silhouette.
