About Classic Waves & Curls
A common worry is that heavily styled hair will feel stiff or glued into place. My approach focuses on creating natural movement. I use specific texture-building techniques to ensure the waves hold their shape through long events—whether it is a Sangeet night or a beach wedding—without ever feeling sticky or looking artificial.
Classic waves and curls are timeless for a reason. When I create a Hollywood wave or a soft, voluminous curl pattern, I am not just curling hair; I am looking at how the style frames your face and complements your outfit.
The 'Perfectly Undone' Technique
I specialize in what I call 'perfectly undone' hair. This means achieving deep, uniform 'S' waves that look soft to the touch but have the structural integrity to last all day. I avoid using excessive amounts of heavy spray, which can weigh hair down. Instead, I prep the hair with the right texture-building products, allowing the waves to retain their bounce and shine from the first photo to the final dance.
