Haldi and Mehndi Decor for Home Ceremonies in Delhi
Planning your pre-wedding rituals at home? We set up vibrant, traditional backdrops, rustic seating, and colourful props to make your ceremony space photo-ready.
A complete Haldi ceremony stage with a lush green panel and a bright yellow floral arch. The setup includes traditional Rajasthani umbrellas and a central low seating area for the main rituals.
This elegant Mehndi backdrop features a full wall of light yellow flower strings, framed by a border of dense green foliage. The low decorated stools, or chowkis, provide traditional seating for the ceremony.
This video shows a unique, rustic Haldi setup in an outdoor setting. It features traditional woven seating, yellow fabric canopies, and decorative hangings that create a festive village feel, transitioning beautifully from day to night with fairy lights.
A classic Haldi backdrop combining vertical strings of orange and yellow marigolds. The arch is decorated with yellow flowers and green leaves, with sunflowers adding a fresh touch to the overall design.
This vibrant Mehndi stage uses a bold color palette of pink, yellow, and green drapes. The floral arch and patterned flower arrangements on the floor add a rich, celebratory feel to the event space.

About Haldi & Mehndi Decor
We use high-density artificial marigolds and orchids for our backdrops, so they stay vibrant from your morning Haldi rituals through to your evening Mehndi party. Our structures are designed to be set up in just a few hours, meaning you don't need to block your home or garden for an entire day.
For a home-based Haldi or Mehndi, the biggest challenge is often space and timing. You want a setup that looks festive without making your living room or terrace feel cramped.
My approach focuses on using lightweight, adjustable structures that fit into typical Delhi apartment layouts. I rely on high-quality artificial marigold strings (Genda Phool) and lush floral arches because they offer the classic, rich look of fresh flowers without the wilting or mess.
What goes into your setup:
- Backdrops: We use double-layered polyester-satin fabrics in yellow, pink, or orange, combined with floral borders. Whether you want a simple photo corner or a full stage for the rituals, we customize the dimensions.
- Traditional Elements: To get that proper desi feel, I bring in props like Rajasthani umbrellas, decorative brass bells, and charpai (woven cot) seating with bold, colourful cushions. These work perfectly for outdoor terrace setups or semi-open balconies.
- Seating & Flooring: If you are having a floor-seating ceremony, I provide carpeted mats and comfortable cushions so your guests are relaxed while the rituals happen.
I handle the full setup and takedown. You just share your theme or a reference photo, and I will tell you honestly what works for your space and what doesn't. No hidden costs, no last-minute surprises.
