About this collection

My sessions are a mix of rhythm, soul, and pure fun. Whether it is a 90s classic or the latest trending track, we break the choreography down into manageable steps so you feel the music rather than just copying my moves.

What to expect in class

You do not need to be a trained dancer to start. My Bollywood workshops focus on enjoying the music and expressing yourself. We spend time on technique—posture, hand gestures (mudras), and facial expressions—but the priority is always letting go and having fun.

My approach

I believe dance is storytelling. When we learn a routine, we focus on the energy of the track. If it is a high-energy, fast-paced song, we work on stamina and sharp movements. If it is a semi-classical or romantic number, we dive into the bhaav (expressions) and flow. Every session is designed to make you more confident, whether you are dancing for a wedding, a reel, or just a great workout.

Where we meet

I host regular in-person workshops at my studio in HSR Layout and Haralur, Bengaluru. It is a welcoming space with mirrors and wooden floors where we can all learn without judgment. If you cannot make it to the studio, I also offer online Bollywood dance lessons so you can get the same energy from your own living room.

I am Shivani, and for me, dance is pure devotion—it is how I tell stories through my eyes and hands. I love seeing students leave my studio with a huge smile and a bit more rhythm in their step.
