About this collection
Every workshop is designed to get you festival-ready in just two hours. Whether we are perfecting the circular spins of a Rajasthani Ghoomar or the high-energy beats of Assamese Bihu, we break down the movements so you can truly feel the haathon ke bhaav and footwork. You do not need years of training, just the willingness to step in and celebrate with us.
I believe festivals are best celebrated when we express the joy of the occasion through movement. My sessions bridge the gap between traditional folk roots and accessible Bollywood styling, ensuring you feel confident whether you are performing on stage or just dancing at home.
Styles We Explore
- Rajasthani Folk: From the classic Ghoomar to the rhythmic 'Kajaliyo', we work on those signature spins and the grace of the poshak (traditional attire).
- Festive Bollywood: Whether it is Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, or Teej, I create routines that capture the mood—from slow-paced, devotional movements to high-octane festive choreography.
- Assamese Bihu: I love bringing the vibrant, earthy energy of the harvest season into our studio sessions.
How to Join
You can join me in HSR Layout or Haralur for in-person workshops, or connect from anywhere via Zoom. For those preparing for a specific event—like a family Sangeet, a wedding performance, or a festival celebration—I also offer 1-on-1 private sessions. In these, we tailor the steps directly to your song choice and comfort level, ensuring you get a breakdown video to practice at home.
