A 3,900 sq ft Gurgaon retreat designed for calm living. See how I used natural light, soft neutrals, and rich textures to create a sanctuary that balances modern minimalism with personal character.

A glimpse into the living room at Casa Zen, where calm meets character. I used a soft neutral palette and structured furniture to create a feeling of timeless elegance, while bronze accents and layered rugs bring warmth and depth to the space.

This wider view of the dining area shows its connection to the rest of the home. The design uses wall mouldings and a cluster of mirrors to add architectural interest and create an illusion of spaciousness, making it a perfect example of functional elegance.

This cozy nook within the Casa Zen living area features a comfortable tan leather sofa and abstract art. It demonstrates how I create distinct zones within a larger space, each with its own mood, while maintaining a cohesive design narrative through color and material choices.

Here is the master bedroom at Casa Zen, a space designed for ultimate relaxation. The tropical-themed wallpaper serves as a serene focal point, complemented by a soft, tufted headboard and natural light that fills the room, creating a peaceful and airy atmosphere.

This short tour of the Casa Zen master bedroom highlights how subtle textures and a palette of whispering neutrals come together. The space is designed to feel restful, proving that luxury isn't about being loud but about the quiet calm that greets you at the end of the day.

A dedicated reading and work corner within the master bedroom. I designed this space with a comfortable recliner and a sleek wooden desk to provide a functional yet stylish area for productivity and relaxation, proving that every corner can serve a purpose.

A close-up of the custom sage green bookshelf in the master bedroom. The arched niches and curated decor objects reflect my belief in creating storage solutions that are both beautiful and personal, turning everyday items into a design feature.

The guest bedroom at Casa Zen was designed to feel like a warm embrace. Classic wall paneling, a channel-tufted headboard, and layered textiles in neutral tones create a sophisticated and welcoming retreat for visitors.

Welcome to the guest room, a space that feels like a warm hug wrapped in calm. I used a soft palette of whites, greys, and taupes with just a hint of color to create a modern sanctuary that is minimal, warm, and deeply restful.

In the guest bedroom, I focused on creating visual calm with a textured chest of drawers and abstract art. The inclusion of a live plant and soft lighting makes the space feel alive and grounded, embodying the principle of meaningful minimalism.

About Project Showcase: Casa Zen

I designed this 3,900 sq ft home with a focus on meaningful minimalism rather than simple emptiness. For example, the hallway isn't just a transition space—I turned it into a gallery-style corridor using monochromatic art and glass partitions to maintain an open, expansive feel while adding deep personal character.
