About Spaces: Restaurants & Interiors
Shooting a restaurant isn't just about finding the right angle, it is about balancing the light. I often blend the warm, moody ambient light of your space with my own softbox setup to make sure the decor and furniture pop without looking artificial or washed out. I spend time aligning the shot so the architecture feels natural, not distorted.
When I shoot interiors, I am not just looking for a wide shot. I am looking for the texture of the wooden benches, the way the light hits the neon signs at a place like Social Offline, and the flow of the room.
My technical approach involves using specialized lenses to avoid that weird, stretched look you get with cheap wide-angle lenses in tight cafe spaces. Whether it is a moody, neon-lit lounge or a bright, airy breakfast spot, the key is controlling the highlights.
We will walk through the space together before I lift the camera. I want to know what your hero spots are—the corner with the best greenery, the feature wall, or that signature bar setup. We plan the shoot to avoid peak hours so we are not dodging customers, or if you need lifestyle shots with people, we work around the flow of the space.
Your photos are the first thing people see on Instagram or Zomato. If the space looks flat, people assume the experience is flat. I make sure your interior photography reflects the actual energy of your restaurant, so when a customer walks in, it feels exactly like the photos they saw online.
Aur haan, I am based in Delhi NCR but I travel across the region for these shoots. If you have a specific mood board or a theme in mind, let me know, and we will build the lighting setup to match it.
