The Making Of: From Fresh Blooms to Resin Keepsakes
Ever wonder how your wilting wedding roses or proposal blooms turn into jewelry? Here is a look behind the scenes at how I carefully dry, set, and polish your precious memories into pieces you can wear every day.
A customer sent a single rose and asked for a bracelet. This video shows how I took that flower and turned it into this hexagonal charm bracelet, a stylish and meaningful piece.
From a handful of dried rose petals, I crafted this elegant bracelet. Watch how each link is filled with pieces of the flower, preserving the memory in clear resin with gold flakes.

About The Making Of: My Process
People often ask me if their flowers will lose their color once dried. My process involves professional silica-drying, which maintains the vibrant shape and pigment of your petals before they ever touch the resin. Whether you send me a fresh orchid from a proposal or a dried rose from your wedding, I treat each petal individually, ensuring it stays preserved in a high-gloss, non-yellowing epoxy.
How I Transform Your Memories
Preservation is a delicate art, and I take my time with every piece. Because resin acts like a magnifying glass, your flowers need to be treated with absolute care from the moment they arrive at my Delhi studio.
1. Preparation & Drying If you send me fresh flowers, I start by silica-drying them. This removes the moisture while keeping the petal structure intact. I avoid harsh heat methods because they turn petals brown. For flowers that are already dried, I carefully inspect them for any damage before starting.
2. The Resin Pour I use a high-grade 2:1 or 3:1 epoxy resin. I pour in layers to ensure there are no air bubbles trapped near the petals. This is where I can add custom touches like gold flakes, names, or dates. The curing process takes patience—it needs to sit undisturbed in a dust-free environment for 24 to 48 hours to reach that glass-like, hard finish.
3. Assembly & Finishing Once the resin is hard, I mount it into your chosen hardware—be it a gold-plated bezel for a pendant, a ring base, or onto a wooden LED stand. Finally, I apply a UV-resistant top coat. This adds an extra layer of protection against the daily wear and tear of being worn as jewelry or kept on your desk.
Why Process Matters
When you see the final result, you are seeing a piece of your history locked in time. I am not just pouring chemicals; I am making sure that the orchid from your first date or the rose from your wedding day stays exactly as you remember it. If you have questions about how a specific flower will look in resin, just ask.
