Behind the Scenes of My Handcrafted Jewellery

Ever wondered how your custom jewellery comes to life? I am pulling back the curtain on my workspace here in Kothrud to show you the thread, beads, and pure chaos behind every piece I make. 😜

Here’s part one of my silk thread jhumka making process. It all starts with wrapping the base with colourful silk thread, which is a very meditative process for me.

This is part two of making a silk thread jhumka. After wrapping the base, I add the stone chain, bead caps, and earring hooks to assemble the final piece.

A video showing how I create my beaded memory wire bracelets. I start by making a loop in the wire and then string on the beads to create these easy-to-wear, adjustable bracelets.

The final steps of finishing a purple beaded bracelet. I secure the end with a loop, ensuring the beads are snug and the bracelet is durable and easy to put on and take off.

Unboxing new supplies is always so exciting. Look at all these beautiful colours of crackle beads that just arrived. Which one is your favourite?

Just me, Harshada, the hands and heart behind CozMHappy. I'm so glad I get to share my passion for creating with all of you.

About My Crafting Corner

When I sit down to make silk thread jhumkas, it is pure meditation. I wrap each base tightly to avoid gaps, then hand-assemble the stone chains and beads. This slow, hands-on approach is how I ensure your earrings are not just pretty, but built to last. 💃🏼

Making things by hand is my way of staying happy. In this corner of my studio, you will find me working on custom requests or just experimenting with new patterns. Whether it is threading those glass crackle beads for an adjustable memory wire bracelet or selecting the perfect colour match for a silk thread jhumka, every step happens right here at my table.

I love the unboxing phase when new supplies arrive. Those little crackle beads and zinc alloy charms look so vibrant before they become jewellery. My 5-year-old assistant often tries to help, which usually leads to a bit of a mess, but she keeps the energy up and makes the process a lot more fun.

If you have seen a design you like or want a colour theme to match your favourite outfit, just let me know. I do everything from custom beaded bracelets for kids to statement festive sets. It is all about the little details that make a gift feel truly yours. If you want something specific, feel free to ask. I am always excited to try a new design.
