Haldi & Pre-Wedding Ceremony Photography
Turmeric-stained laughs, stolen glances, and the messy, beautiful chaos before the wedding. I focus on catching the real, unscripted moments that make your pre-wedding rituals feel like your own love story.

About Haldi & Pre-Wedding Ceremonies
I don't believe in forcing poses during a Haldi. My approach is to let the event unfold while I stay ready for the quick, genuine reactions—like the groom getting caught by the mess or the bride’s unplanned laugh when a friend jokes around. You will see a mix of candid shots and stylish portraits, focusing on the vibrant, often messy energy that makes your pre-wedding rituals unique.
The Haldi is rarely a perfectly choreographed event, and that is exactly why I love photographing it. It is loud, it is messy, and it is usually where the best, unscripted emotions happen. Whether it is a backyard ceremony in Bengaluru or a vibrant setup in Rajasthan, my goal is to document the raw energy rather than just the decorations.
When you look at your album later, you should not just see the backdrop. You should see the specific, goofy look on your partner's face when the turmeric gets everywhere, or the quiet moment when your parents share a smile.
What goes into your Haldi coverage:
- Candid Storytelling: I focus on the 'DilKoDastak' moments—those involuntary smiles, laughter, and reactions that tell the real story of the day.
- Creative Collages: I often mix individual portraits with group fun to show the energy of the crowd and the sequence of the event.
- Stylized Portraiture: While the event is candid, I do take time for a few stylized couple shots when the light is right, often using natural props or the venue’s architecture to frame you.
- Adaptability: Whether you are planning a massive garden gathering or an intimate home ceremony, I adjust my gear to ensure we capture the details without getting in the way.
If you have a specific theme or color palette in mind for your rituals, let me know. I like to frame my shots to complement your choice of outfits and decor, ensuring your photos look as cohesive as they feel.
