This is the story of 'Zero Spoils', an app created by our students Manya and Sri under our founder's guidance. The project began with brainstorming and research to tackle the global issue of food wastage.
The project was built on a clear purpose. We helped our students align the app with UN Sustainable Development Goals 2 and 12, focusing on reducing food waste caused by expired products.
We guided the development of practical features, like this barcode scanner. The app saves the item's expiry date and sets a reminder, turning a complex problem into a simple, actionable solution for users.
We are incredibly proud of the recognition our founder, Sakshi Gupta, received for her mentorship from Technovation. This certificate highlights our commitment to fostering the next generation of technology innovators.
