Behind the Scenes: Pro-Level Route Setting
Ever wonder how those tricky routes appear on our walls? It is not magic, it is a mix of drills, creativity, and a whole lot of hard work. We set over 15 fresh problems every week, turning our gym into a shifting puzzle for every climber.
The art of route setting. Before every competition, our team gets to work, stripping the walls and creating brand new challenges. It's a process of creativity, hard work, and lots of testing.
New routes are coming up on the competition wall. Our setters are always designing fresh movements and harder problems to keep you challenged. Stay tuned to test your skills on these new creations.
The wait is over. Our crew of route setters is putting the finishing touches on the lead wall for the Kids Climbing Championship. Every hold is carefully placed to create a fun and challenging climb.
The routes are set. Our team, harnessed and ready, works high on the walls to prepare for the competition. This is where the magic begins.
A route setter carries a bucket of holds up the wall. Each route is a puzzle, and our setters are the architects, choosing the right pieces to create a masterpiece of movement.
Our team member smiles while setting a new route. We love what we do, and that passion goes into every problem we create for you to conquer and win.
A call to all kids. Our team sets routes specifically designed for young climbers, ensuring they are safe, engaging, and perfectly suited to their size and skill level.
Come and climb. A setter rappels down after completing a section of the wall. We're getting everything ready for an exhilarating competition full of fun and excitement.
From the starting hold to the final dyno, every competition route is meticulously planned and timed. We run simulations to ensure everything is perfect for the athletes on comp day.
About Behind the Walls: Route Setting & Prep
A great route is more than just holds on a wall. Our setters look at body mechanics, reach, and difficulty to create paths that challenge your mind as much as your muscles. Whether you are training for the next Bloc City jam or just here to crush some grades, you are climbing a project designed specifically to help you level up.
The Art of the Climb
For us, route setting is not just about placing holds. It is about creating a flow that mimics the real rock experience, scaled down for our Noida indoor facility. We treat every wall as a blank canvas where we draw movement lines, test reach, and figure out the best way to make you move.
Why Freshness Matters
If you climb the same route for months, you stop learning. We rotate 15+ fresh problems every week to keep things spicy. When you see our team on the walls with ladders and drills, know that they are crafting your next session. We want you to walk in, look at the wall, and feel that excited nervous energy that comes with a new challenge.
The Competition Edge
When we host events like our Kids Championships or the Bloc City bouldering jams, our setting process gets even more intense. We run full simulations, test the 'crux' (the hardest move), and verify safety. Everything from the height of the holds to the friction of the wall is dialed in to ensure that the competition is fair and exhilarating. We take the math out of the equation so you can just focus on your performance.
Join the Movement
Our routes are the backbone of this tribe. They give you something to talk about, something to work on, and a reason to high-five your buddies when you finally stick that dyno. Whether you are a kiddo getting your first top-rope or an adult crushing hard bouldering problems, there is always something here with your name on it.
