Don't stress about the mess—that's exactly what makes for the best photos. We keep the water at the perfect temperature, use safe, fresh fruits or petals, and ensure the session revolves around your baby's nap time so they stay happy and playful rather than grumpy.
Bath time shoots are essentially controlled chaos, and honestly, they are my favorite. Whether it's a milk bath, a citrus splash, or a bubble-filled tub, the goal is always the same: capturing that genuine, unfiltered joy. I bring the setup to your home or prepare it in my Banashankari studio.
We use only baby-safe, food-grade ingredients for the baths. If it is an orange or grape bath, those fruits are fresh, and the water is always warm—no chilly, uncomfortable splashes. Since we are dealing with water, we plan these sessions around your baby's sleep and feeding schedule. We typically aim for a time when they are well-rested and in a good mood.
For the look, I usually suggest two distinct themes. We can go for the classic floral milk bath or get a bit quirky with vegetables and fruits. If your baby is already sitting up, that is the sweet spot for these shoots. If they are younger, we support them with props and keep the focus on those chubby hands and feet splashing around. It is all about having fun, getting a bit messy, and walking away with photos that you will actually laugh at later.
