About Behind the Scenes: Production & Logistics
Anyone can create a moodboard, but the real work starts when the vendor trucks arrive on-site. Our training goes beyond the digital concept to the ground, where you will learn to manage floor plans, generator loads, and those inevitable last-minute setup pivots. You will not just study production, but work through the late nights and early mornings required to execute an event in the real world.
Beyond the Moodboard
Many aspiring designers think the job is about fabric swatches and color palettes. While those elements are part of the story, they are useless if the logistical foundation collapses. Our production workshops and diploma programs teach the mechanics of a successful event.
What You Will Master
- Vendor Coordination: Learn how to talk to lighting crews, sound engineers, and florists. You need to speak their language to get what you want.
- Site Management: We cover the basics of trussing, power requirements, and safety. You will understand why a layout looks great on paper but requires specific spacing in a real venue.
