For cat-eye designs, I use a special magnetic gel. The fun part happens when I wave a magnet over the wet polish—it pulls the metallic particles inside to create that shifting, 3D light effect. Getting that line perfectly centred and depth-filled takes real patience and a steady hand.

Chrome is a different game entirely. It works best over a flawless gel base. If the base isn't buffed to perfection, every tiny ridge and bump will show up in the mirror finish. I seal it with a high-gloss, no-wipe top coat to ensure that glazed or reflective effect stays put without chipping.
