Close-Up & Personal Magic Performances
Forget the stage. I bring mind-reading and illusions right to your table, turning cocktail hours and networking events into shared, interactive conversations.
The moment of astonishment when the magic happens right in front of you. Performing for guests at an outdoor wedding event in Indore, creating a personal and unforgettable experience.
Some of the most powerful connections are to our memories. Here, I helped a guest recall her first crush, and then revealed his name, Suyash, along with her exact birth date. It's a fun, personal way to create a moment of pure amazement.
Engaging with guests during a wedding celebration. My close-up magic is interactive, encouraging participation and making everyone feel like they are part of the effect.
I had the fascinating opportunity to read the mind of a top European plastic surgeon. I was able to pick up on details of a complex medical case and even a made-up alias name he was thinking of, "Satish".
An invisible playing card, the five of spades, is folded by a guest and placed behind his back, only to impossibly appear under his watch. A classic of card magic that never fails to get a great reaction.
A candid shot from a Christmas Eve show. I'm surrounded by guests who are leaning in, completely absorbed in the close-up card magic happening at their table.
A signed card vanishes and reappears in the most impossible way. This kind of close-up illusion creates a strong, lasting impression because it happens right in the guest's own hands.
Over a meal at the St. Regis, I delved into a guest's mind to uncover memories of his first crush from the fifth grade, right down to her name, Niti. It's these personal connections that make the magic meaningful.
Reading the mind of director Anees Bazmee. I walked him through his own home in his mind, focusing on an object he enjoys, and correctly deduced he was thinking of his PS5.
Sharing a laugh with guests of all ages at a wedding in Indore. My goal is to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere where everyone can experience a sense of wonder.
About Close-Up & Personal Magic
This isn't about pulling coins from behind an ear; it is about psychological connection. Whether I am mingling at a cocktail mixer or moving between dinner tables, I focus on micro-mentalism—reading body language to deduce names, dates, or secrets—right in the guest's own hands. This format works because it forces people to pause, put down their phones, and actually engage with the person sitting next to them.
The Ice-Breaker That Actually Works
In a room full of strangers or at a corporate gathering, the hardest part is often the first five minutes. That is where close-up mentalism comes in. By performing at eye level, I strip away the barrier of a stage, making the impossible feel intimate and immediate.
Why This Format Matters
- Active Engagement: Unlike a stage show where you are a spectator, here you are a participant. You hold the deck, you think of the number, you verify the prediction. It is a shared reality.
- Networking Catalyst: My roaming performance is designed for cocktail hours and networking sessions. It provides guests with a common topic, effectively erasing awkward silences and helping people connect with each other, not just with me.
- Flexibility: I adapt to the vibe of the room. If it is a high-energy corporate mixer in Mumbai or an intimate dinner in Delhi, I modulate my approach. I can be the quiet mystery in the corner or the catalyst for group laughter.
What You Can Expect
When I move between clusters of 3-6 guests, I am not just showing off. I am reading a mood. I might use a deck of cards to demonstrate a choice you made subconsciously, or I might use your own smartphone to reveal a PIN you thought was safe.
This is magic stripped back to its purest form. No smoke, no mirrors, just a connection that feels real because, in the moment, it is.
