I don't need a stage to create wonder. My strolling sets are designed for cocktail hours and receptions, where I move between groups to perform intimate mind-reading and sleight-of-hand that turn strangers into friends.

Here's a fun interaction during a close-up card trick. An audience member gets a little ahead of herself, and I have to playfully tell her, "You're a little bit premature, baby," before the final reveal.

In this close-up setting, I have two volunteers pick a card from two different decks. When they both miraculously pick the Four of Clubs, I joke, "Maybe it's a fluke," before repeating the impossible feat.

A clip of me entertaining colleagues with some close-up card magic aboard a cruise ship. Even in a casual setting, a simple card trick can create a moment of amazement and connection.

More fun with colleagues aboard a cruise ship. This close-up card trick involves a mistaken identity and a magical transformation, all happening right at the dinner table.

This is a classic sleight-of-hand trick with a coin. I make it vanish from one hand and reappear in the volunteer's own hand, asking her, "Did you feel it?" Her shocked reaction is the best part.

Sleight of hand is all about dexterity and misdirection. In this close-up performance, I have a volunteer try to follow the card, but no matter how closely he watches, the magic happens when he least expects it.

A miracle on their own hands. I ask a volunteer to imagine the scent of a lily flower, and through the power of suggestion, she is able to actually smell the fragrance on her own palms.

After a stage show, I love to mingle and perform for smaller groups. Here, I use two decks of cards and two volunteers to create an impossible coincidence, with their chosen cards magically swapping places.

A signed card is a powerful thing. Here, I have a volunteer sign a card, lose it in the deck, and with just a snap of the fingers, their signed card impossibly jumps to the top.

The show doesn't end when I leave the stage. This clip captures the high-energy fun of performing close-up magic for guests after the main event, with a card appearing in my mouth for a surprising finish.

About Close-Up & Strolling Magic

My strolling magic is not a show you watch from a distance; it is a 60 to 90-minute experience designed to break the ice. I weave through your gathering in small groups of 3 to 10 people, performing 5 to 7 minute bursts of impossible card tricks and psychological illusions that happen right in the hands of your guests.
