How I Sculpt Memories into Clay Miniatures
Welcome to my studio, where memories become clay. Every miniature here is sculpted by hand, created to hold a little piece of your story.
I often wondered how to explain what I create. It’s not just clay or miniatures. It’s a memory you can hold, a story told in tiny details. Your wonderful messages show me that some things are meant to be felt, not just described.
A customer asked if her Ganesha idol would look exactly the same as the picture. I explained that since it's handmade, hers would be one-of-a-kind. When she received it, she said it was perfect, and that makes it all worthwhile.
She remembered me after two years. A customer from the USA who bought from me in 2022 messaged me again for her upcoming trip to India. It’s connections like these that make my work so meaningful.
This is how it feels when I’m creating your orders. It is pure joy in every detail. Doing what makes me happy brings so much positivity, and that’s the feeling I pour into every little treasure I sculpt for you.
This tiny miniscape looks like it took two hours, right? It actually took over 12 hours. From sculpting each feather and petal to assembling it all on a stone, it's a slow process, but always worth it.
Order Diaries, Episode 2. Here’s me starting work on an order for a custom giraffe mug. Every time an order comes in, it truly lights up my day.
You didn't just buy a clay piece, you bought a piece of my heart. I hope that when you open your package, it makes your day, just like your order made mine.
August has been a month of clay, creativity, and little stories. Here’s a peek at me working in my studio and some of the pieces that found new homes.
Words like these make every moment with clay feel worth it. Reading such kind comments about my Ganeshas, birds, and fairy houses fuels my creativity.
I totally get it if my art isn't your thing, but every like, comment, and share helps keep this little art dream alive. Thank you for your support.
About The Art of Clay: My Process & Your Stories
Please keep in mind that I do not use molds or machines for any of these pieces. When you ask for a custom miniature, I am sculpting every detail from scratch—from the texture on a bird's wing to the expression on a Ganesha idol—which means each order requires 10 to 15 business days for careful sculpting and curing. I work slow and steady to make sure your piece is truly one of a kind.
My desk is usually a happy mess of polymer clay scraps, tools, and half-finished ideas. This is where your stories turn into art. Whether you are looking for custom clay replicas of your pets, handmade Ganesha idols for your car dashboard, or a whimsical fairy house for your garden, my process remains the same.
The Process
Every piece is hand-sculpted using high-grade polymer clay. Because I avoid molds, no two items are identical. I spend hours on details that might take seconds to look at, but that is the beauty of slow art. Each item goes through a curing process in the oven, ensuring durability and a matte finish that lasts. I even use resin for water effects or add battery-operated LEDs for my fairy house structures.
Customization
I love working on custom orders. If you have a photo or a specific memory you want preserved, send it over. I have sculpted everything from sewing machines for designers to specific aircraft miniatures. Since everything is handmade, there will be tiny quirks and variations, which are the signatures of an artist, not a machine. If you are in Bangalore, I can deliver larger, delicate pieces directly, but I ship my miniatures across India with lots of protective packaging to keep them safe.
Why Hand-Sculpted?
People choose these pieces because they want something that feels human. My clients often come back to me years later because the piece they bought wasn't just decor; it was a memory they could hold in their hand. If you want a gift that feels like a piece of my heart sent to you, let’s talk.

I’m the Malkin of this little clay studio, and my desk is always a happy mess of tools and half-finished ideas. I honestly believe that clay is more than just a material; it is a way to hold onto memories, whether it is a tiny Ganesha for your dashboard or a miniature version of a cherished pet.
