About Parade Float & Large-Scale Sculpture Fabrication
Bringing Big Ideas to Life
I’m a kalavida (artist) who loves making art that’s too wild for just a canvas. When an idea feels swalpa dodda scale alli (a bit too big), I take it to the streets with my team. We build parade floats and giant sculptures that grab attention and spark conversations.
Parade Floats That Stand Out
Designing and fabricating custom parade float design is what I do best. My team and I have worked on floats for Zilla Panchayats in Kolar and Mandya, and big festival parades like Dasara. Seeing our work rolling through the crowd is a sakkath (awesome) moment every time.
Telling Stories Through Art
Every float and sculpture has its own vibe. Some celebrate our culture - temple structures, sages, even a massive Shiva Lingam. Others push social messages, like the farming and water conservation float with a giant golden tap. I also love capturing nature and village life, from rural homes to animal sculptures.
Sculptures Beyond the Parade
It’s not just about wheels. We also do festival sculpture fabrication for exhibitions and events. Think huge tigers, waterfalls, or anything that makes people stop and stare.
How We Make It Happen
- Start with big blocks of styrofoam and carve out the dream
- Paint every detail so it pops
- Build the scene with mixed media - artificial grass, foliage, water effects
For me, it’s more than work. It’s putting my manasu (heart) out there for everyone to see.

My Story
Hey, I’m Chidu. Art is everything for me. You’ll usually find me sketching Kannada stars - Appu sir, Yash boss, Sudeep sir, Vishnu dada... I draw them with full heart. Sometimes I sit for hours just to get that smile right - ‘Nagutiru nee paramathma’ (Keep smiling, supreme soul). Gods like Shiva, Krishna, Jai Shri Ram - I love sketching them too. Parade tablo work with my team is fun, but mostly it’s me and my pencil, fighting with the paper. I hope my art shows my heart.
My Work
Custom handmade art - I create pencil sketches, realistic family portraits, color pencil art, charcoal work, scribble art, and blood art.
Photo to portrait - Send me your photo, I’ll make it come alive on paper using grid method for accuracy.
Celebrity and god sketches - I love drawing Kannada celebrity pencil sketches, Hindu god charcoal artwork, and even cricketers or movie characters.
Flexible styles - Realistic shading is my main style, but I also do acrylic paintings and scribble art commissions.
