An engagement or Roka ceremony is the start of your wedding journey, and I treat it as a significant event in its own right. Whether it is an intimate family gathering or a large party, my goal is to document the flow of rituals and the raw energy of your guests.

How I Cover Your Event

For engagements, I typically work with a two-person team: one senior photographer and one videographer. This allows us to cover both the traditional rituals—like the ring exchange and family group shots—and the candid moments where the camera is forgotten.

What to expect from my coverage:

• Engagement Package: I provide 5 hours of continuous coverage, which is usually sufficient to capture the main rituals and family interaction without needing a full-day commitment.
• Deliverables: You receive 150 to 200 color-corrected digital images and a 3 to 5 minute event highlight film. This format is designed to give you a complete summary of the day that is easy to share with family.
• Turnaround: I aim to deliver photos within 7 to 10 working days, so you have your images ready while the excitement of the event is still fresh.

Cinematic Touches

While I maintain a documentary approach, I include elements of my cinematic style in your engagement film. I use natural lighting where possible, but I bring portable studio lights for stage photos to ensure that your family portraits are clear and well-defined, even in darker banquet halls. If you have specific shots you want with your partner, we can carve out time for a mini-portrait session during the event flow.
