Capturing a perfect splash requires precise synchronization of high-speed strobes and camera timing. I collaborate with stylists to manage the physics of these liquids, ensuring the texture of your product and the freshness of the ingredients remain the focal point of every frame. We focus on the chemistry between lighting and liquid to create visuals that stop the scroll.
Dynamic splash photography is a technical exercise in timing and light control. When shooting skincare products like face washes, creams, or serums, the goal is to visualize hydration and purity.
The Technical Process
To achieve the results you see in our portfolio, we use professional strobes capable of freezing motion at high speeds. Because reflective packaging like glass bottles or glossy plastic tubes can create unwanted glare, we control the light fall-off carefully using macro lenses. This allows us to capture fine textures like water droplets, fruit slices, or cream smears without losing detail.
Collaborative Production
These shots are rarely solo efforts. For campaigns, I work with product stylists to ensure props and liquid interactions align with the brand identity.
