Whether you are picking up a rifle for the first time or training for a championship, the four pillars of shooting—aiming, breathing, triggering, and follow-through—remain the same. Learn from national-level coaches who focus on the mental and physical discipline that makes a real shooter.

Every great shooter, from a beginner to an Olympian, masters the same fundamentals. Here, I introduce the four basic parameters of shooting: aiming, breathing, triggering, and follow through.

Finding your natural shooting angle is key to consistency. This tutorial shows you a simple exercise to find the perfect, most stable body position for your pistol shooting stance without straining your shoulder.

Your breath is a tool for stability. In this video, I explain the proper breathing sequence for shooting: inhale as you lift, exhale as you lower, and hold for up to 7 seconds in the aiming area for a steady shot.

Trigger control is what separates a good shot from a great one. This guide explains the two stage trigger pull, emphasizing a slow, continuous pressure on the second pull to avoid jerking and ensure accuracy.

We regularly hold discussion and technique correction sessions at our Chembur range. It's a chance for shooters to ask questions and get personalized feedback from our coaches to refine their skills.

The mental game is just as important as the physical one. Here, our shooters are in a mental training session conducted at our Chembur branch to prepare for an upcoming championship.

Shooting is more than just a sport. This graphic lists the key benefits, including improved focus, enhanced discipline, boosted confidence, and stress reduction. It's a complete workout for the mind.

A powerful reminder for every shooter. This image of an electronic target screen shows that every shot, even one that isn't a perfect ten, is a valuable lesson in what to adjust for the next one.

Some words of wisdom from our founder, Ankit Jain. Success in shooting, like in life, is earned through intense practice, discipline, consistency, and sharp focus. There are no shortcuts to becoming a champion.

About Learn from the Champions

Shooting is not just about steady hands; it is about mastering the sequence. We break it down into four parameters: aiming, breathing, triggering, and follow-through. Once you stop treating it like a guessing game and start following this specific flow, you will see your grouping tighten almost immediately.

Every great shooter, from a complete beginner to an Olympian, follows the same fundamental steps. At our Mumbai ranges, we strip away the guesswork.

The Four Parameters

We teach you to coordinate your movements. You need to inhale as you lift, exhale as you lower, and hold your breath only when you reach the aiming area. If you hold it for more than seven seconds, your weapon will start to vibrate, and your accuracy will drop. We train you to time your trigger pull—starting it before you hit the black circle and applying slow, continuous pressure—so you avoid the common mistake of jerking the shot.

Beyond the Technical

It is not just about the gear. We use electronic targets in Powai and Malad for 0.1mm precision feedback, and traditional paper targets in other branches to build your basics. We also conduct dedicated mental training sessions because, as we say, skill is about the mindset that hits the mark. Whether you are dealing with stress or aiming for a medal, we help you build the discipline to stay calm under pressure.
